Novogen is focused on growing the value of its intellectual property, the core of which is the Novogen isoflavonoid technology platform.
The growth in value is being underwritten in a number of ways:
- by continuing to expand the number of compounds and products in the development portfolio;
- by seeking to protect these products through a vigorous international patenting program;
- by taking selected products through to a stage of clinical development where there is 'proof-of-concept' and the products have a definable value.
Novogen has a unique and highly valuable resource in its isoflavonoid technology platform. For that reason it has elected to underwrite the development of the technology using its own resources without the assistance of commercial partners. Novogen will seek commercial partners either at a time when the product has reached a point of a definable commercial value (such as after Phase II clinical studies) or where the Company believes that a partner can facilitate the development of the product.
